St Mary's is a simple but spacious and peaceful church.
It has some Norman , 13th and 14th century work as well as a 14th century crocketed spire containing a clock and four bells. The font is Norman and carved with zig-zag ornament.
The church is open dawn till dusk every day and there are many visitors as an American memorial to the 92nd Bombardment Group, stationed at Podington Airfield during the Second World War, is next to the organ which was also restored by the Group.
Sadly we have no toilet facilities. The nearest are at Wyvale Garden Centre in the village
